Description
Not all silver bars are created equally – and this one is a fine example of how modern technology has improved the bullion minting process. This particular Britannia design was recreated by Jody Clark from the original that first appeared on coins during the reign of Roman Emperor Hadrian and was later sculpted by Philip Nathan in 1987. It has been so popular and trusted amongst investors that it is now used on a range of products from bullion coins (known commonly as “Britannias”) to bars of varying metals and weights. Minted by the Royal Mint, this beauty contains 10 troy ounces of .999 fine silver in a single, stackable bar. The patterns of waves and detailed engravings provide added security features as well as a magnificent visual appeal.
Obverse: Royal Mint seal with the size, purity, as well as added waves and security details.
Reverse: The portrait of Britannia, the female personification of Britain, holding a trident and shield – ready to defend her country.
Dimensions: 89.79 x 51.74 mm.
