Intaglio Mint was established in 2010 as a privately held “boutique” Mint headquartered in Ozark, Missouri. They are a full-service mint, with all facets of the coin-making process completed in-house. They are well-known for producing coins, tokens, medallions and rounds that commemorate special events, places, persons and other things of historical value.

This particular round is part of Intaglio’s Wild West Legends Series, contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, and pays tribute to one of the most famously known Native American warriors: Geronimo! An Apache leader of the Chiricahua tribe, Geronimo fearlessly fought against those trying to push his people off of their lands. Despite having lesser technology on the battlefield, Geronimo’s cunning military wisdom was very effective against the more heavily armed troops. Although he was ultimately defeated and treated as a prisoner of war, his rebellious spirit never died.
