Intaglio Mint was established in 2010 as a privately held “boutique” Mint headquartered in Ozark, Missouri. They are a full-service mint, with all facets of the coin-making process completed in-house. They are well-known for producing coins, tokens, medallions and rounds that commemorate special events, places, persons and other things of historical value.

This particular round is part of Intaglio’s Famous Circus Sideshow Acts Series, contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, and pays tribute to one of the most famously known pair of conjoined twins: Chang and Eng Bunker – The Siamese Twins! Chang and Eng were born in Siam conjoined together at the sternum in 1811. They began touring the world as a sideshow act until they eventually went into business for themselves. They ultimately settled in North Carolina and married sisters. Between the two of them, they had 21 children!
