This 2018 Silver Maple Leaf was struck in one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver and features the incuse design to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Maple Leaf design!  The design is different from most Canadian silver Maple Leaf coins in that both the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and the iconic Maple Leaf are sunk into the coin instead of being raised above their surroundings like the other designs. These modern Maple Leaf coins have added security features to them, such as micro engraved lines and the date, to help prevent against counterfeiting.
