The design depicts the falcon on the attack with its graceful spread of wings and claws outstretched for capturing its prey. Also noted on the coin is its .9999 pure fine silver as well as a stamp denoting its one troy ounce .The obverse side of the coin showcases Queen Elizabeth II in profile, an image rendered by artist Susanna Blunt. The coin is a special Royal Canadian Mint limited edition with only 1,000,000 of these 2014 1 oz Canadian Silver Peregrine Falcon coins produced.
