The Australian Lunar Series II Collection began in 2008 with the Year of the Rat and ended in 2019 with the Year of the Pig. This 2014 coin celebrates the Year of the Horse and contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The horse, and persons born in the Year of the Horse, are said to be associated with energy, freedom, independence, quick wit and strong drive.
The obverse of the coin shows a likeness of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II, along with the denomination, year, weight and purity. The reverse side shows two horses at the edge of a stream drinking water, as well as the Chinese symbol for the word “horse.” Makes a great purchase for anyone born in the Year of the Horse or who wants to collect each coin in the series!

The coin I received looks as if it had been previously taken out of its capsule and looks as if there is a finger print or some sort of contamination on the coin. The coin is worth spot price at best but I paid a high premium for the coin. I will never purchase from this coin dealer ever again.
