Description
This Chinese Panda coin from the Chinese Mint features a yearly-changing design and contains one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. This year’s design consists of a panda playing with a tree branch and bamboo branches in the background. It is an early release First Strike from the Chinese Mint, guaranteed by the People’s Bank of China, and has been graded as MS69 by PCGS. Note: although the coin was found to be almost flawless at the time it was graded, it is possible for certain “milk spots” or toning to develop over time.
Obverse: The Hall of Prayer in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, encircled by the phrase “People’s Republic of China” and the year.
Reverse: A panda playing with a tree branch, the denomination, the weight and purity are all inscribed.
