Description
This classic “Liberty” design was introduced on $20 gold pieces in 1849 and continued through 1907. Minted in Philadelphia, San Francisco, New Orleans (1850-1861 only), Carson City and Denver (1906 and 1907 only), these “20 Libs” as they are often called, are highly desirable and always in demand by collectors and investors. These will be common date, average circulated coins and will be problem-free in our opinion – no distracting rim bumps, no deep scratches or gouges, no evidence of harsh cleaning or polishing, etc. In our opinion, they will be in Very Fine (VF) condition or better.
