This 2022 Great Britain Royal Arms coin from The Royal Mint contains 1 troy ounce of .9999 fine gold. The obverse features the likeness of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II, the 100 pound denomination, and the inscription “DG REG FD” (the abbreviation for the latin phrase “Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor” which means “Grace of God, Queen, Defender of Faith.” The reverse contains the Timothy Noad reinterpretation of the iconic Royal Arms design originally designed by Eric Sewell.
