Description

This 2-troy ounce .999 silver round is the sixth release in Elemetal’s Egyptian Gods Series and is a tribute to the Goddess Sekhmet – the goddess of war. Believing that the side with the strongest diety protecting them would win any war, Sekhmet’s favor was sought by the paying of tribute to her by both the Egyptian citizens and warriors prior to any battle.  The round has a high-relief appearance with an antiqued finish that gives it a three-dimensional look.

Obverse: The goddess Sekhmet in human form but with the head of a lioness. She holds a blood-dripping blade behind her back.

Reverse: The goddess in her incognito and less dangerous state, which is Bastet, a cat. The cat is seated on an alter in front of a Pyramid. Also inscribed are the weight and purity.
