Description

This Chinese Panda coin from the Chinese Mint features a yearly-changing design and contains 30g (.9645 troy ounce) of .999 fine silver. This year’s design, which now has the new 30g weight implemented in 2016 in order to align with the metric system, consists of two adorable pandas sliding around in the snow while playing. It is also guaranteed by the People’s Bank of China.

Obverse: The Hall of Prayer in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, encircled by the phrase “People’s Republic of China” and the year.

Reverse: Two pandas playing in the snow, the denomination, the weight, purity, and a special “40” privy mark to celebrate 40 years of the Chinese mint.
