This Chinese Panda coin from the Chinese Mint features a yearly-changing design and contains 30g (.9645 troy ounce) of .999 fine silver. This year’s design, which is 30g weight in order to align with the metric system, consists of a close-up view of a panda cub reaching up in the air for some tasty bamboo leaves. It is also guaranteed by the People’s Bank of China.

Obverse: The Hall of Prayer in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, encircled by the phrase “People’s Republic of China” and the year.

Reverse: A juvenile panda grabbing onto bamboo leaves, the denomination, the weight and purity.
