A continuation of the Perth Mint’s Next Generation Series launched in 2018, this 2019 minted 10 oz. Silver Bullion Coin features a mother and baby crocodile. The Next Generation Series celebrates life in the wild extending across generations a poignant theme particularly in relation to the strong connection that exists between a mother and her newborn.

This 10 oz. .9999 fine silver coin is 65mm in diameter and is crafted with an extra thick planchet in the style of traditional ‘piedfort’ coins originating in 12th century France, where their name comes from the French words for “heavy weight”.

The reverse of this coin depicts a mother crocodile floating through the water, with her hatchling clinging to her back and the rising sun glowing in the background.
