The character known as Wolverine, alias Logan or Weapon X, debuted in 1974 in the release of The Incredible Hulk #180. This character first appeared in the final panel of that release before gaining a much larger role in The Incredible Hulk #181 released in November 1974. Wolverine is a mutant with keen, animal senses, incredible physical strength, and the ability to regenerate when injured.

In the obverse design of the 2021 Tuvalu Wolverine Marvel Series Silver Coin, you will find an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown in right-profile relief in the current Tuvalu bust of the monarch. This image was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley for the use of the Royal Mint of England and shows the Queen wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara.
