Description
This 2014 $5 U.S. Marshals Commemorative coin is brilliant/uncirculated and contains .2419 troy ounces of gold. It was designed to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the establishment of the U.S. Marshal service which originated in 1789.
Obverse: The US Marshals Service Star is the central focus of this side of the coin. Inscriptions of “1789,” “2014,” “225 YEARS OF SACRIFICE,” “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the date of issuance (2015) are also found.
Reverse: An American bald eagle holding an American flag, the denomination, “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “JUSTICE,” “INTEGRITY,” and “SERVICE” are all inscribed.
Diameter: 21.6 mm.
