Description
Each year, the United States Mint produces a wide variety of products for collectors, and among the most popular are the silver proof sets. The 1999 silver proof set is the first silver proof set to include five “State Quarters”, representing the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia and Connecticut. In the 1999 silver proof set, the Roosevelt Dime, all five Washington “State” Quarters and the Kennedy Half Dollar all contain 90% silver and 10% copper – the same standard as was used for our pre-1965 silver coinage. The only non-silver coins in these sets are the Lincoln Cent and the Jefferson Nickel. The 1999 silver proof set has always been a “better date” set, carrying a higher value than many other, more common dates of silver proof sets. Order your collectible 1999 Silver Proof Set today!
