Description
The Mexican Silver Libertad is a very well known and extremely popular silver bullion coin, containing one full ounce of .999 fine silver. First produced in 1982, they have undergone a few design changes over the years, one of which occurred in 1991 when two distinct varieties were produced, known as Type 1 and Type 2. On the common Type 1 coins, the word “onza” appears in lowercase letters on the obverse of the coin. On the scarce, and more valuable Type 2 coins, the word “ONZA” appears in capital letters on the obverse of the coin, with the “O” and the “Z” larger than the other letters. The product shown is the more common Type 1 variety. All Mexican Silver Libertad coins are very collectible and we believe make an excellent investment choice. Order yours today!
