Description
This 1 troy ounce .999 fine silver round is a replica of the 25-cent coin struck by the US Mint from 1916 to 1930. The original design of the Goddess of Liberty, created by sculptor Hermon Atkins MacNeil, is one of the most beautiful and well-known designs of US Coins. The “Standing Liberty” quarter replaced the Barber design that had previously been used from 1892 up until 1915, and now is featured on this stunning silver round! The design of these rounds may vary, but each will have the Goddess of Liberty (some with more or less revealing clothing than others) on the reverse side. Each round also typically has an eagle design on the obverse with the weight, purity, and mint inscribed. A great bullion piece to commemorate an iconic design in US Mint history!
Diameter: 39.3 mm; Thickness: 3.2 mm.
