The Columbian Exposition Half Dollar was the first US commemorative, sold for $1 at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Christopher Columbus and his flagship, the Santa Maria grace the obverse and reverse.  These coins will be, in our opinion, in Extremely Fine condition or better, dated 1892 or 1893.  Date of our choice, depending on our available inventory at the time of your order.
