Description
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of President Dwight David Eisenhower, the United States Mint produced these beautiful Eisenhower Commemorative silver dollar coins in 1990. Made of 90% silver and weighing 26.73 grams, they were produced to the same specifications as our circulating silver dollars of the late 1800s to early 1900s, and contain a fine silver content of .7734 ounces. During World War II, Eisenhower served his country as a five-star general in the United States Army, and he was Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Forces in Europe.
The obverse of these beautiful coins features a double likeness of Eisenhower (nicknamed “Ike”); a leftward-facing military representation, and a rightward-facing presidential portrait, honoring his service in both capacities. The reverse features a depiction of the Eisenhower home in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
These coins will be shipped in their complete, original packaging, just as they came from the US Mint. Also available in Proof condition, this product is the Brilliant Uncirculated version. Order your BU 1990 Eisenhower Commemorative Silver Dollar coins today!
