The Specimen version of this coin is vapor blasted after minting, giving them a distinctive matte finish. They are also incased in plastic capsule for added protection and are placed in a presentation box. In addition the Specimen version is distinguished from the bullion version by the “P” mint mark engraved below “IN GOD WE TRUST”

This coin commemorates Yosemite National Park, famous for it’s gigantean sequoia trees, the park is set within California’s picturesque Sierra Nevada mountains.

The reverse of this coin depicts the iconic El Capitan, rising more than 3000 feet from the floor of the Yosemite Valley.
