This 2022 1 troy ounce .999 fine silver coin is the second release in The Royal Mint’s Myths and Legends series. It features Maid Marion, a woman of great rank but who also tried to represent the commoners of her time. She is known by legend for aiding Robin Hood and his merry men in stealing from her rich associates and avoiding getting caught by the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Reverse: Maid Marian facing right into the trees of Sherwood Forest with a bow in her hands and arrows on her back. Also inscribed are the weight, date and purity of the coin.

Obverse: The likeness of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination.
