One of the nations prominent residents, the grizzly, is featured on the reverse of one of the Royal Canadian Mints 2011 Canadian Wildlife Series. This .9999 fine silver 1 oz. bullion coin is the second addition to the Canadian Mint’s Wildlife Series, with 1,000,000 minted in 2011. On the reverse side of the coin is William Woodruffs image of a lone grizzly bear as it unleashes a menacing roar, with the Canadian Rockies in the background. The obverse side of the coin bears the traditional image of Queen Elizabeth II
